"Cēsu Stāsti" — where the past meets the present
We believe that every place has its own story, waiting to be told. "Cēsu Stāsti" is an initiative that brings together history, architecture and human destinies to reveal the unique soul of Cēsis. Our aim is to preserve and share this heritage, making it accessible to everyone — both local residents and visitors to the town.
How do we do it?
We gather and research a variety of sources, drawing inspiration from the town's old and contemporary stories, and we give everyone the chance to take part in this process of discovery. "Cēsu Stāsti" is not merely a platform of informative material — it is a place where the history of Cēsis comes alive.

We are history enthusiasts, researchers and admirers of the cultural heritage of Cēsis who wish to share this richness. We work together with local residents, archives and historians to create the most complete collection of Cēsis stories possible.
